Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member to deliver exceptional customer service, manage checkout transactions accurately, and assist with in-store processes. You will help customers, enroll them in rewards programs, and support BOPIS and Ship From Store.

The role involves merchandise recovery, stock duties, and maintaining in-stock conditions while upholding store standards and safety policies. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate the cash register and handle transactions to standards.
• Ability to remain standing and move throughout the store as needed.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; foster respectful interactions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; execute cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC survey; participate in omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, planograms and store recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
