Job summary

Michaels in Dayville, CT is hiring a Store Associate to help customers find products and provide friendly service. You will assist with checkout, handle cash, enroll customers in rewards, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. You’ll stock, recover merchandise, and keep the sales floor well merchandised.

Regular shifts include evenings and weekends in a public retail setting. Strong customer service experience and the ability to stand for long periods are preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness; ensure in-stock conditions.
