Job summary

Michaels Stores in Beaumont, TX is seeking an friendly store associate to assist customers, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations. You will help customers locate products, process transactions, and participate in store recovery to keep shelves in-stock and presentable.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, participating in planograms, and supporting omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers with product location and solutions.
• Strong cash handling and checkout skills to standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on benefits of rewards program and private label cards; enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock shelves, and merchandise returns/go-back
• Perform store in stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers and team members in a respectful manner
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
