Job summary

Michaels is seeking an associate at our Jacksonville store to help customers find products, process transactions, and participate in daily store operations. You’ll support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, assist with merchandise stocking, planograms, and returns, while upholding safety and shrink programs.

You will join a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment that emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and friendly interactions.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram maintenance
• Complete merchandise recovery and stock; handle returns/go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote brand values
• Interact with customers and coworkers respectfully; be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
