Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Indio, CA seeks a part‑time Server to join the dining team. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure a welcoming, fast-paced service in the resort restaurant and patio.

Prior server experience and a current Food Handlers Card & TIPS certification are preferred. Hours include evenings and weekends; compensation is $16.90 per hour plus tips, with eligibility for company benefits after meeting full-time criteria.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 months’ related server experience preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to understand and implement dining standards.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Provide hospitality by knowing the resort facility and dining area, and answer menu questions.
• Write orders; relay to kitchen and bartender.
• Serve and clear tables following service etiquette.
• Work as a team and follow leadership from Lead Server or F&B Manager.
• Identify safety issues or customer concerns and report them.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
