Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking an experienced Bartender for Trilogy at The Polo Club in Indio, CA. The role involves preparing and serving beverages and food to guests across the bar, restaurant, and patio, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager.

This part-time position requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates have bartending experience, strong guest service, and current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet the state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; must be able to calculate discounts, and percentages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with focus on guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by understanding the resort facilities and dining areas.
• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion; recommend beverages.
• Mix drinks, serve wine/beer, take orders, and prepare to-go orders.
• Handle cash and card transactions; balance the cash register.
• Attend events and banquets; assist in all Food & Beverage functions as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Oversee other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
