Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Company Inc. is seeking a Quality Control inspector for a seasonal, full-time position in Mount Olive, NC. You will perform inspections, collect and test samples, and report deviations from HACCP and CQ specifications.

You will conduct pH analyses, calibrate instruments, inspect packaging, and document data in the PreSage system. A high school diploma and ability to read, write, and speak English are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Math skills including fractions, addition, subtraction, and basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical analysis on syrups, brines, raw ingredients, in-process samples and finished product.
• Evaluate product for defects and ensure they meet specification limits.
• Perform pH analysis and calibrate the pH meter as required.
• Inspect packaging for defects, incorrect codes or labels, and verify code dates.
• Enter in-process and finished product data into the PreSage data system.
