Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking a machine operator to set up, operate and maintain one qualified piece of equipment in the Finished Goods area. You will monitor product quality, perform checks, and adjust line speeds to keep processes flowing efficiently.

The role requires finishing training modules, basic math, English literacy, and intermediate computer skills. You may train seasonal staff and assist in related lines as needed in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalency needed.
• Must complete company training module for one piece of qualified equipment.
• Ability to speak, read and write English required.
• Required math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Intermediate level computer skills required.
• CRC (Bronze level or higher) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces parts, and operates one qualified piece of equipment in the Case Up Department.
• Monitors to ensure product adheres to food safety and quality standards.
• Performs quality checks of labels and coding at each station.
• Adjusts line speeds to keep the pasteurizer discharge tables empty.
• Performs daily and weekly operational and pre-operational checklists on all equipment.
• Cleans and maintains assigned work area and performs PMs.
