Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Company is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead our inside production team. You will supervise to ensure safety, quality and on-time production in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to train staff, coordinate with other departments, and manage costs, quality, and efficiency while complying with SOPs and GMPs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years leadership experience in production processes, preferably food manufacturing.
• High school education plus Acidified Foods GMP School.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of mechanical processes.
• Working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations (federal, state, OSHA, etc.).
• English required; conversational Spanish a plus.
• Ability to manage people, set example by conduct and maintain discipline and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assures employee safety, food safety and quality rules are followed and training is provided.
• Monitors SOPs and GMPs, ensures on-schedule start-ups.
• Assigns tasks to staff based on daily production needs.
• Uses machinery and personnel to maximize production and reduce waste.
• Coordinates with other departments to minimize downtime.
• Maintains equipment condition and coordinates repairs or changes.
• Oversees reports and data entry; ensures accurate records.
