Job summary

You will set up, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all qualified equipment under supervision, coordinate with the supervisor to resolve problems, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, high-quality production. The role requires English literacy, math skills, and the ability to learn new technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of company training modules for equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to learn new technology and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair and operate equipment in the department.
• Coordinate work with supervisor to resolve production or equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Adjust line speeds to meet standards and maximize production while ensuring quality.
• Conduct daily and weekly pre-operational checks and document repairs.
• Report maintenance needs and write work requests for repairs.
• Operate forklift as needed and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist in training and monitoring progress of department staff.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
