Full Steam Staffing LLC in Ontario, CA seeks a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to support weekly payroll operations in a seasonal, fast-paced corporate office.

You will assist with processing payroll, resolving inquiries, and generating reports, collaborating with the Payroll Manager to keep records accurate and ensure employees are paid correctly and on time. Strong Excel skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll, administrative, or office experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers and handling confidential information.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with payroll processing systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Paychex is a plus.
• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing and reviewing weekly payroll for accuracy and completeness.
• Review payroll information and make sure employee hours and payroll data are accurate.
• Review and process Payroll Action Requests (PARs) submitted by staffing agencies.
• Assist with generating weekly and monthly payroll reports.
• Help research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks and data entry.
• Communicate with staffing agencies, employees, and internal teams regarding payroll questions and updates.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Provide support to the Payroll Manager and payroll team as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other payroll-related duties as assigned.
