Job summary

Shenandoah National Park seeks a Guest Services Attendant-Night Audit to perform overnight front desk services and close-of-day procedures at Skyland Resort. You will audit shifts, balance revenues, and handle cash with accuracy while serving guests with professionalism.

This seasonal role (3/24/2027–11/30/2027) requires night availability, strong communication, and familiarity with Room Master and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years front desk/room registration experience required.
• Two years Night Auditor/Relief Night Auditor preferred.
• National Park/Resort Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit the shift closing of all front office staff and close shift three; prepare audit summaries.
• Produce accurate reports and handle all cash transactions.
• Balance and post daily house accounts; run preliminary reconciliations and final reports to accounting and profit centers.
• Balance and audit revenue, cashier’s reports, guest and house accounts and telephone revenue; prepare reports.
• Balance, audit for accuracy and transmit credit card batches.
• Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents.
• Act as Manager on Duty during overnight hours.
• Perform all Front Desk Attendant functions including reservations, guest check-in/out, and answering hotel calls.
• Provide for a safe work environment by following safety programs and ISO policies.
