The Anoka County Parks department aims to enhance quality of life through parks, outdoor recreation, and environmental protection. The Seasonal Natural Resources Technician will perform tasks such as biocontrol agent management, aquatic vegetation control, prescribed burns, vegetation removal, and field surveys.
This is a seasonal, non-exempt, on-site position based at 1350 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN. Hours vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with 20-40 hours per week.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions, involving physical activities such as bending, walking on uneven terrain, and handling equipment. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Driving county or personal vehicles required. Exposure to chemicals and machinery hazards possible.
