Job Description:

Advanced Wireless Communications (AWC) is hiring a Two-Way Radio (DAS) Field Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication systems. This role involves frequent travel to customer sites—primarily in the retail and long-term care sectors. You’ll work with DAS infrastructure, repeaters, and two-way radios from leading brands like Kenwood and Motorola.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain DAS systems, repeaters, and wireless communication networks.
• Troubleshoot and repair two-way radios, portables, and system components.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams; document service work thoroughly.
• Support field demos, collaborate with engineering and sales teams, and mentor fellow technicians.
• Operate test equipment including service monitors, watt meters, and spectrum analyzers.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with two-way radio systems (Kenwood, Motorola, etc.).
• PLT certification preferred; military communications background welcome.
• Valid driver's license and comfort with frequent travel.
• AS degree or equivalent experience (3+ years preferred).
• Compensation: $27–$30/hour
