Job Description

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site service, maintenance, start-up, and installation supervision of equipment. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

1. Verify correct installation and configuration of equipment at various field locations.
2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
4. Document all service and repair activities.
5. Provide technical training and support to customers.
6. Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
8. Manage service schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Perform start-up of newly installed equipment and systems, including PLC programming adjustments and system dial-in to meet contractual performance requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or technical field.
• Hands-on experience with equipment installation and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.
• Technical degree or certification.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
