Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah is seeking a friendly restaurant server to deliver exceptional guest experiences with a breathtaking mountain view. You will sell the menu, place orders with the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery while anticipating guest needs.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organization and time management skills.
• Strong customer service knowledge and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to collaborate and work in fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state-required licenses such as Food Handler's Certificate and Sips and Tips.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the ordering system.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and make recommendations.
• Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule reservations for customers.
• Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers when needed and complete additional tasks as needed (i.e., shoveling patio).
• Close and clean the restaurant and prepare for food service the next day.
