Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Scribe Tech for a seasonal role ending 02/28/2027 to document patient visits in the EMR and assist physicians with basic care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program or phlebotomy training is a plus, strong communication skills, and a flexible full-time schedule including weekends. BLS certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Graduation from a Medical Assisting program and/or phlebotomy certifications a plus, but not required.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Flexible with full-time schedule including weekends.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits into the EMR.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Direct patient flow, inventory, and follow up on labs; ensure DOH compliance.
• Provide compassionate customer service and maintain a clean, professional environment.
