VillageMD is seeking a full-time seasonal scribe to document patient visits in the EMR and assist physicians in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role includes directing patient flow, managing labs, and ensuring DOH compliance.

Responsibilities include accurate charting, aiding with basic patient care, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment while delivering compassionate service. End date is 01/29/2027, with a pay rate of $18.75/hour.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED; further education a plus.
• Excellent bedside manner and professional presentation.
• Flexible with full-time schedule including weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• English language skills required.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player with good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual language skills preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist the physician with basic patient care and procedures.
• Capture accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Direct patient flow, manage inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure site DOH compliance and proper medication handling.
• Provide compassionate care and maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and imaging facilities.
• Maintain supplies and equipment as needed.
