Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a seasonal scribe to document patient visits in our EMR with accuracy and speed. You will assist physicians with basic care, support lab processes, and coordinate patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include ensuring DOH-compliant labs, managing supplies, and delivering compassionate customer service while following established protocols. BLS and bilingual ability are valued for on-site work across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree a plus.
• English language skills required (speaking and writing).
• BLS certification required at time of hire is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Help manage patient flow, inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure site lab compliance with DOH regulations and maintain records.
• Provide excellent customer service while adhering to protocols and workflows.
