Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a dedicated Scribe for a full-time seasonal role in an urgent care setting. The Scribe will document patient visits, support physicians with basic procedures, and help manage patient flow and labs while ensuring DOH compliance.

This position offers hands-on healthcare exposure and a path to clinical career progression. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college education a plus.
• Strong bedside manner and professional presence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate documentation of patient visits in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow and support lab and inventory tasks.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site labs and exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient service.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment.
