Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Seasonal Scribe to support urgent care teams. The Scribe will document patient visits in the EMR, assist physicians with basic procedures, and help direct patient flow and labs.

This role emphasizes DOH compliance, quality care, and excellent patient service in a fast-paced setting. It is an entry point for CNA, MA, EMT, or Paramedic careers, with broad exposure to healthcare operations. End date anticipated 02/27/2027; pay rate is $18.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• English language skills required (speaking and writing).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bilingual language skills may be required based on location.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate documentation of patient visits in the EMR.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Direct patient flow, inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site lab and exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate, professional service while maintaining cleanliness and stocked supplies.
