Position Description
Are you detail oriented? Do you like to problem-solve to ensure equipment is working effectively and efficiently? The Seasonal Maintenance Worker maintains the appearance and cleanliness of county facilities managed by the Facilities Management and Construction Department. They perform general upkeep of facilities and minor scheduled maintenance activities. Work is performed during Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. This position will have a new and different work environment every day and will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for the safety, comfort, security, and beautification of facilities County-wide.
The temporary Seasonal Maintenance Worker performs work under general supervision and possesses a solid working knowledge of subject matter, handles moderately complex issues and problems associated with maintenance of county facilities, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. This position will have a new and different work environment every day and will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for the safety, comfort, security, and beautification of facilities county-wide.
