Job description

The City of Minnetrista Public Works seeks to hire multiple seasonal maintenance positions. Positions work 40 hours per week, with a base schedule of Monday – Friday, 7am to 3:00pm, working evening/weekend hours may occur. Scheduled work runs April/May through August/September depending on availability. Duties include mowing, brush and grass trimming, trails and landscape maintenance, building and parks maintenance, painting, storm/ditch work, etc. These positions will perform various types of manual labor and operate light equipment in the maintenance of city streets, parks, utilities, and landscaping. The hourly pay for this position is $17.00.

Minimum qualifications: Must be 16 years of age or older; possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record; able to perform light to heavy physical labor with the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
