Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps. The position is on-site, live-in, seasonal (May–Sept), and requires coordinating daily culinary operations, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring allergen safety.

You will oversee all kitchen activities, enforce health standards, and guide a high-volume service while fostering a positive team culture in a fast-paced camp environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens knowledge required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and handle a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and meal service.
• Oversee allergen safety and sanitation standards in line with Health Department guidelines.
