Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder who loves music and pop culture. You will support the store leadership team, train new hires, and help run daily operations to hit sales targets.

You will provide an amazing customer experience, drive KPI improvements like UPT and ADT, manage the sales floor, assist with opening and closing, and share fashion and music trends with management.

This role blends leadership, service, and team collaboration in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
• Step in and step up when needed; support store management and help run the store.
• Understand store sales plan and drive KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor and assist with opening/closing the store.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales; close out the register and report shortages/overages.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion & music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Ensure stock room organization and store tidiness.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed.
• Any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader.
