Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Christmas Kettle Driver in Springfield, IL to transport bell ringers, equipment, and donations during the Christmas campaign. You will interact with the public in a friendly, compassionate manner and help ensure smooth operations across kettle sites.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, providing required gear, performing safety checks, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere. Local travel is required; seasonal position up to 90 days.

Qualifications

• Passion for The Salvation Army mission and ability to present it clearly.
• Must pass pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check.
• Valid driver’s license and good knowledge of roads in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bell Ringers, equipment, and donations to kettle sites.
• Provide aprons, badges, kettles, and bells to Bell Ringers and return at shift end.
• Conduct site checks to ensure Bell Ringers are present and ready.
