The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Driver to support the Christmas Campaign in Springfield, IL. The role involves transporting bell ringers, equipment, and donations, and providing courteous, compassionate service to the public while upholding safety and security standards.

Candidates must pass a pre-employment background inquiry and have a valid driver’s license. The position is temporary (up to 90 days) with local travel required and a pay range of $15.75–$18.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for the Salvation Army mission and ability to convey it to others.
• Background check and motor vehicle check required with a valid license.
• Familiar with local roads in the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bell Ringers, equipment, and donations to kettle sites.
• Provide aprons, kettles, and bells at shift end and secure monies.
• Conduct site checks to ensure Bell Ringers are present.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and professional communication.
• Perform duties related to Seasonal Christmas activities.
