Job summary

The Salvation Army in the United States is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to support the corps office during the kettle season. You will lead kettle orientations for staff and volunteers, organize deposits, and supervise workers at multiple locations to maximize donations and ensure smooth operations.

This seasonal role requires strong clerical skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with donors and stores.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years clerical experience preferred.
• Previous kettle experience is a plus.
• Must be 21+ to drive for TSA.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Bilingual in Corps location language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct kettle Orientation for employees and volunteers.
• Prepare proper paperwork for all Seasonal Kettle employees.
• Accurately enter all needed information into kettle program employee and campaign related.
• Recruit and assign volunteers and/or service clubs to kettle locations.
• Prepare kettle schedules daily and assign employees to maximize net income.
• Take inventory of kettle equipment and report/replace broken items.
• Prepare Schedule route for Kettle Driver.
• Respond to complaints at kettle locations.
• Supervise, train and discipline employees as required.
• Prepare kettle income for deposit and make bank deposits per TSA policy.
• Arrange Angel Trees in stores and assist toy donations.
