Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to support kettle season activities across locations. You will train volunteers, manage paperwork, and ensure accurate data entry for campaigns while directing schedules and coordinating equipment and deposits.

This role requires clerical experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with store teams, volunteers, and donors. Bilingual skills are a plus for local communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of clerical experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older to drive for TSA.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Bilingual in corps location language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct kettle orientation for employees and volunteers.
• Prepare proper paperwork for all Seasonal Kettle employees.
• Enter information into kettle program accurately.
• Recruit and assign volunteers and service clubs to kettle locations.
• Prepare kettle schedules daily to maximize net income.
• Take inventory of kettle equipment and report broken items.
• Prepare schedule routes for Kettle Driver.
• Respond to complaints at stores' Kettle locations.
• Supervise, train and discipline employees as required.
• Prepare kettle income for deposit and make bank deposits per TSA policy.
• Arrange for Angel Trees to be set up in stores.
• Assist with toy donation activities.
• Kettle Driver regularly or as needed.
• Maintain on-time attendance.
• Perform other kettle-related duties.
