Qualifications

• One year experience working with kettle fund raising programs preferred OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of employee and volunteer bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same.
• Assists with the recruitment, screening, scheduling, and supervision of bell ringing staff and volunteers to ensure all kettle sites are properly staffed and operations comply with Salvation Army policies.
• Maintains ongoing communication with staff and volunteers, addresses concerns, and provides recognition through various forms of correspondence to foster a positive and supportive environment.
• Manages daily kettle income records, prepares program status reports, documents volunteer hours, and assists with the accurate counting, recording, and depositing of funds.
• Plans and executes special events, engages with community leaders to promote Salvation Army initiatives, and transports kettles and supplies using Salvation Army vehicles.
