Qualifications

• High School or G.E.D. required.
• One year experience with kettle fundraising preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects bell ringing staff and volunteers to ensure all sites are covered.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work; instructs in procedures; checks progress and completion for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintains contact with staff and volunteers; answers questions or concerns; recognizes workers via mail, in person, or phone.
• Prepares and maintains records and databases for kettle income; reports on kettle status; documents hours worked.
• Plans and coordinates special events; prepares plaques and certificates of recognition; maintains event records.
• Meets with community leaders to discuss Salvation Army needs.
• Drives Salvation Army vehicle(s) to kettle locations; delivers and collects kettles and supplies.
• Assists with counting, recording and depositing kettle funds.

Education
