Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division (Itasca County) seeks a Kettle Coordinator for the Red Kettle Campaign. This temporary seasonal role involves hiring and onboarding staff, scheduling volunteers, and managing timekeeping and payroll processes.

You will coordinate kettle locations and routes, track activity, and provide day-to-day operational support through December 2026. Must have a high school diploma and valid driver’s license; work site-based with some weekend hours and lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating employees or volunteers preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and onboarding of seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers.
• Maintain timekeeping records for seasonal staff and submit payroll-ready data.
• Develop daily schedules for employees and volunteers and resolve coverage gaps.
• Coordinate kettle placement, movement, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter kettle activity data and assist with campaign reports.
• Support kettle routes, deliveries, pickups, and staffing as needed.
