Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division in Itasca County is seeking a Kettle Coordinator for the Red Kettle Campaign. This seasonal, temporary role will hire and onboard seasonal staff, schedule employees and volunteers, maintain timekeeping records, and support kettle locations and routes.

Compensation is $15 per hour for 25 hours a week, through December 2026. The position requires strong organization, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work days,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating employees, volunteers, schedules, or similar operations preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Salvation Army motor vehicle record requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage changing schedules and priorities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with employees, volunteers, donors, businesses, and the public.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn job-related systems.
• Dependable and professional, with good judgment and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
• Develop daily staff and volunteer schedules.
• Coordinate kettle placement, transport, and equipment.
• Enter campaign data and assist with reports.
• Assist with kettle routes and staffing coverage.
