Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Service Extension for Winona County is seeking a Kettle Coordinator for the Red Kettle Campaign. This seasonal position coordinates day-to-day operations, including hiring, onboarding staff and volunteers, scheduling, timekeeping, kettle locations and routes.

Responsibilities include data entry, campaign tracking, and supporting route and operational needs throughout the campaign. The role offers 25 hours per week at $15 per hour through December 2026.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating staff, volunteers, donors and the public.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn campaign systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and onboarding of seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers.
• Maintain timekeeping records and payroll-related data for seasonal staff.
• Develop and communicate daily staff/volunteer schedules and adjust for coverage needs.
• Coordinate placement, pickup and movement of kettles and related equipment.
• Enter campaign data and assist with reporting and tracking of kettle activity.
