Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division (Dodge County) is seeking a Seasonal Kettle Coordinator to manage day-to-day Red Kettle Campaign operations. Responsibilities include hiring and onboarding seasonal staff, scheduling, timekeeping, and coordinating kettle locations and routes.

The role is fully site‑based with hours including days, evenings, and Saturdays. Compensation is $15 per hour for 25 hours per week, through December 2026.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating employees or volunteers preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR requirements.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent communication with staff, volunteers, donors, businesses, and the public.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and onboarding of seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers; provide orientation and training.
• Review and maintain accurate timekeeping records for seasonal employees and submit records on time.
• Develop and communicate daily schedules for employees and volunteers; handle call-offs and coverage needs.
• Coordinate placement, pickup, and movement of kettles and related equipment; support locations and address issues.
• Maintain campaign records and enter data related to kettle activity, staffing, and collections; assist with reports.
• Assist with kettle routes, deliveries, pickups, and staffing coverage as needed.
