Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division (Dodge County) is seeking a Red Kettle Campaign Coordinator. This seasonal, part-time role oversees day-to-day operations, hires and onboarding of volunteers, schedules staff, tracks timekeeping, coordinates kettle locations and routes, and supports campaign staffing and data entry through December 2026.

Compensation is $15 per hour for 25 hours per week, with duties including driving locally and ensuring kettle equipment is ready.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience coordinating employees, volunteers, schedules, or similar operations preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Salvation Army motor vehicle record requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage changing schedules and priorities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with employees, volunteers, donors, businesses, and the public.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn job-related systems.
• Dependable and professional, with good judgment and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard seasonal bell ringers and kettle drivers.
• Maintain timekeeping records and payroll support.
• Develop daily schedules for employees and volunteers.
• Coordinate kettle placement, pickup, and movement of kettles and related equipment.
• Enter data related to kettle activity, staffing, collections, and other required information; assist with reports.
• Assist with kettle routes, deliveries, pickups, and staffing coverage as needed.
