The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Seasonal Assistant to support the annual kettle campaign, toy and food drives, and volunteer programs in Petaluma, California. You'll work under the Service Center Coordinator, partnering with staff to deliver services during the kettle season, manage scheduling, assist with inventories, and help with office tasks

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Secure and manage kettle locations and ensure documentation per policy.
• Maintain kettle equipment and coordinate delivery/pickup.
• Recruit and train volunteer kettle workers and manage scheduling.
• Assist with counting and depositing kettle funds as required.
• Support end-of-season inventory and storage of equipment.
• Assist with volunteer hour submissions and reporting.
• Provide office support and help with food/toy collections and distributions.
