Job summary

The Salvation Army Woodland Service Center in Woodland, CA is seeking a Seasonal Assistant to support the annual kettle campaign, toy and food drives, distributions, and volunteer recruitment and management.

Responsibilities include securing kettle locations, maintaining equipment, training volunteers, scheduling shifts, counting and depositing kettle funds, and assisting with end-of-season inventory and reporting. A High School diploma and valid California driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or better.
• Ability to speak and write English at a professional level.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure and manage kettle locations and documentation.
• Maintain kettle equipment and arrange delivery/pick up.
• Recruit, train and supervise kettle volunteers and schedule shifts.
• Count and deposit kettle funds and manage end-of-season inventory.
• Assist with food/toy drives, reports and other assignments as needed.
