Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal HR professional to partner with Operations across locations, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance. The role requires proximity to business operations and hands-on HR support for multiple UPS locations in the United States.

Responsibilities include building strong HR partnerships with managers and staff, communicating HR processes, facilitating organizational change, and supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interactive communication skills.
• Strong research and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain high confidentiality.
• Professional image with internal and external customers.
• Willingness to travel for recruiting events/initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Promotes effective relationships between HR and Operations partners, recruiting organizations, external customers, and peers to share accountability and provide valued support for achieving business goals.
• Composes clear communications of HR processes, changes, or updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Promotes organizational change and cultural transformation to ensure the organization’s strategic and tactical initiatives are effectively executed.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge base, consistent time management skills, and strong organizational skills to provide an effective consultative partnership with business management.
• Develops effective tools to organize, prioritize, delegate, and create solutions to meet HR initiatives in a timely manner.
