The Highlands at Harbor Springs, part of Boyne Resorts, is seeking friendly Host/Hostess candidates for full-time and part-time seasonal roles. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests, assisting with seating and reservations, and helping keep dining areas running smoothly.
Ideal candidates are team players who communicate well, pay attention to detail, and are willing to step in as needed. Weekend and holiday availability is required to support peak service periods.
Qualifications
- Must have a friendly, guest-focused approach.
- Ability to greet guests warmly and assist with seating.
- Strong communication and teamwork to support service flow.
Responsabilités
- Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
- Assist with seating, reservations, and overarching guest flow.
- Take delivery or To-Go orders when needed.
- Handle payments and close out transactions.
- Coordinate with kitchen for seating pace and large groups.
- Ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
- Restock service items and maintain clean work areas.
- Assist team members as needed.
- Answer questions about menu items and services.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly.
- Perform side work at shift start and end.
