Job summary

The role emphasizes friendly, proactive guest service, knowledge of hotel amenities, efficient handling during peak periods, and meticulous shift-end checklists. Training is provided for new staff.

Responsibilities

• Open doors and assist guests with luggage or heavy items.
• Direct parking traffic and help guests enter/exit the area.
• Collect and label guest keys accurately for proper return.
• Park guests' vehicles in designated areas per traffic laws.
• Operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Keep lobby, front door, bell stand, and luggage room clean and orderly.
• Promote hotel amenities and services when assisting guests.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, layout, local attractions, and airport transport.
• Stay up-to-date on in-house groups and functions.
• Issue luggage tags, store bags correctly, cross-reference when issuing.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records.
• Ensure deliveries and luggage reach correct rooms.
• Demonstrate readiness to help when needed.
• Assist with luggage during peak periods promptly.
• Aid in maintenance of the bell closet and carts.
• Work systematically to avoid misplacing luggage.
• Operate bell carts carefully to avoid damage or injury.
• Deliver guest valet laundry promptly.
• Provide accurate directions and information about local areas.
• Be a positive thinker and company-driven.
• Know emergency procedures thoroughly.
• Ensure all checklists and responsibilities are completed by end of shift.
