Job summary

SXSW is seeking a Seasonal Group Sales Account Coordinator to join the Group Sales & Partnership Experiences team. You will support group sales clients post-sale, manage registrations, and help drive badge sales for the SXSW event in Austin.

Responsibilities include invoicing, contract modifications, and on-site hospitality operations with cross-functional collaboration. The role requires 1–3 years in client services or related fields, strong CRM/database skills, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in client services, account management, event coordination, or sales support.
• Experience with CRM and database tools including Google Workspace, Airtable, HubSpot, and FileMaker.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable liaising between internal teams and clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize multi-step projects under deadlines.
• Solid understanding of the SXSW ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Post-sale account management and client success for group registrations.
• Process invoices, generate badge coupons, and manage client deliverables.
• Draft and modify contracts, change orders, amendments, and cancellations.
• Maintain up-to-date client records, deadlines, and status updates across internal systems.
• Monitor industry news and identify market shifts to generate leads.
• Execute targeted lead-sourcing campaigns to build actionable prospect lists.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure sponsorship commitments are met.
• On-site duties: staffing the Group Connections Lounge and hospitality operations.
• Provide high-touch customer service and registration support for group clients.
