Job summary

SXSW seeks a Seasonal Conference Programming Coordinator to ensure conference processes and production requirements are met. You will handle a high volume of emails, respond to stakeholders, and provide administrative support to keep session content current.

On-site duties include overseeing programming, ensuring timely sessions, and assisting attendees and speakers with service needs. Core hours are 10:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Experience in a public-facing role.
• Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills.
• Think critically to find creative solutions to problems.
• Strong in-person, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Slack, Basecamp, FileMaker.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large volume of emails promptly.
• Provide timely responses to stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to the SXSW Conference as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with database information processing and maintain records to ensure session content is up to date.
• Oversee programming at assigned venues and ensure sessions run on time.
• Track attendee engagement and troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Assist registrants and speakers with customer service needs.
