Job summary

SXSW is seeking a detail-oriented Seasonal Group Sales Account Coordinator to join the Group Sales & Partnership Experiences team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on post-sale client lifecycle, driving targeted prospecting, and elevating on-site hospitality operations.

You will manage group registration, invoices, and contracts while coordinating with Housing, operations, and sponsorship teams to ensure successful event experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in client services, account management, event coordination, or sales support.
• Hands-on experience with CRM and database tools (Google Workspace, Airtable, HubSpot, FileMaker).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to liaise between internal teams and external clients.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and ability to prioritize multi-step projects.
• Familiarity with the SXSW ecosystem and event operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary post-sale contact for group registration clients.
• Process invoices, generate badge coupons, and manage client fulfillment.
• Draft and execute contract modifications, including changes and cancellations.
• Maintain up-to-date client records across systems (Airtable, HubSpot, FileMaker).
• Provide on-site support for Group Connections Lounge and attendee hospitality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sponsorship commitments are met.
