Job summary

FS Grain, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to manage scale operations, tickets and customer service at the Ransom, IL elevator. You will handle inbound/outbound tickets, weights, and grades, and coordinate with settlements and operations staff while supporting filing and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and experience working with customers.
• Knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
• Able to work hours beyond normal when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and proper account selection for customers.
• Manage tickets, including invoicing for customer/cash load out.
• Communicate with settlement, origination and operations staff about information collected at the scale.
• Provide courteous, timely customer service and assist with filing and reporting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional scale operation area and participate in meetings and training.
