Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Grand Ridge, IL seeks a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to manage scale operations, ticket accuracy, and data entry. Under the Scale Coordinator, you will handle inbound/outbound tickets, settlements communication, and provide courteous customer service at the elevator.

You will learn the Scale System, generate reports, assist with filing, and support office staff. The role requires a valid driver's license, flexibility to work long hours, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills as well as a track record of working effectively with customers is required.
• Prefer knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer and weights.
• Process customer/cash load out tickets and invoicing.
• Communicate with settlement, origination and operations staff in a timely manner.
• Answer phones and assist customers when needed.
• Maintain the scale area neat and professional.
