Job summary

FS GRAIN seeks a Scale Operator to join our Northern Illinois elevator operations. Under the Scale Coordinator, you will handle ticketing, weigh/grade data, and coordinate with settlement and operations staff to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

You will also assist with filing, reporting, and support the operations manager and CSR staff. The role emphasizes customer service, professionalism, and reliable daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and ability to work with customers.
• Willingness to learn the Scale System and related reports.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• Cooperative mindset and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer and weight/grade data.
• Process customer/cash load out tickets and invoicing as needed.
• Communicate with settlement, origination, and operations staff in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate ticket information and generate relevant reports.
