Job summary

FS GRAIN in Northern Illinois is seeking a Scale Operator responsible for the scale operations, accurate inbound/outbound tickets, and coordination with settlement and logistics teams. The role emphasizes precise ticketing, error management, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and ability to work effectively with customers.
• Strong communication and data entry capabilities are required.
• Experience with scale operations or grain elevators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale and manage inbound/outbound tickets and weights.
• Ensure accurate tickets and proper account selection for customers.
• Process invoicing and communicate with settlement and operations staff.
• Provide courteous customer service and maintain orderly work area.
• Assist with filing, reporting and general office duties as needed.
