Job summary

FS GRAIN is seeking an employee to operate the scale at our Northern Illinois elevator, handling inbound/outbound/transfer activities, weights, grades, and account selection. The role includes processing tickets and invoicing, plus timely communication with settlement and operations staff.

Ideal candidates will have proven computer skills and a solid background in customer service, with the ability to learn the Scale System and assist with filing and reporting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating the scale including inbound/outbound and transfer activities, weighing, grades, and account selection.
• Process customer/cash load out tickets and invoicing.
• Communicate with settlement and operations staff regarding scale information in a timely fashion.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service and support office staff with filing and reporting as needed.
