Job summary

FS Grain, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator at Creston, IL. The role focuses on operating the scale, processing inbound/outbound/transfer tickets, and providing courteous customer service while supporting settlement and operations teams.

Responsibilities include weight/grade data entry, invoicing, and assisting with filing and reporting. Candidates should have strong computer skills, a valid driver's license, and be able to travel if necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills as well as a track record of working effectively with customers is required.
• Prefer knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, have the ability to work independently, and travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale systems for inbound/outbound/transfer and manage weights/grades.
• Create and process tickets, ensure accurate information for customers and settlements.
• Invoicing and communication with settlement, origination and operations staff.
• Provide professional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist Operations Manager and CSR staff with filing, reporting and tidiness of the scale area.
